FAQs

Frequently asked questions

My drive has been sealed, how easy are stains to remove ?

After sealing, stains are much easier to clean as the sealant forms a protective barrier which becomes resistant against stains, algae and lichen.

I have a Pattern Imprinted Concrete Driveway, will it need resealing again ?

High traffic areas should be re-sealed every 2-3 years to not only help keep the structure of concrete bonded but also to protect against discolouring.

What about unwanted weeds ?

If Pattern Imprinted Concrete is laid to a good standard, you shouldn’t see any weeds at all, this is different when it comes to block paving as weeds do grow through the joints, this can certainly be prevented by having your block paving sealed and using a good weed killing solution every 6 months

Is there an anti-slip surface on the market ?

All sealers we use are specially manufactured to reduce the risk of slipping, as they protect you against lichen and moss. We can in addition coat your surface with a anti-slip compound.

Do you require both water & electricity ?

Our cleaning equipment is powered by a petrol generated motor, however we do require a cold water supply, if you have a outside tap this will be fine.
